Days and even months may go by, yet the memory of that moment remains. One day, the yearning within begins to grow. At first it is a soft ripple, but soon it seethes and roils across your body. It overtakes you without reason through uncontrollable urges, and, with awareness of this perfect moment, you propel yourself towards the heavens to shout your name far out into the cosmos.

We created The Fugue to corral these majestic impulses into a broadly reaching, bimonthly Arts & Culture magazine. Within its pages you will find everything from short fiction, poetry, visual art, editorials, and interviews with emerging luminaries. Important dates and deadlines will be made available through this page and our Facebook , but we are always taking submissions and are more than happy to provide feedback and guidance. If we are unable to feature you work in the current issue, rest assured, we will be in touch. The Fugue, after all, is made for the people, by the people.
