Kevin Haugen crafted Penny's original look by remixing multiple ancient ouroboros paintings into one circular dragon form. The 15th Century monk who originally drew her face forgot dragons aren't dogs. Ouch, Penny!

Rachel Topka was commissioned to illustrate Penny's cartoon-o-realistic makeover. Rachel is a friend of ours, a local MN artist with a healthy respect for lizards and an eye for feathered serpents. She's an arts educator with a cool Etsy page.
